Mykhailo Abakumov is a theologian and Christian apologist representing the international apologetics ministry “Reasonable Faith” in Ukraine. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from UETS (Kyiv, Ukraine) and is currently pursuing graduate studies at the St. Thomas Aquinas Institute of Religious Sciences in Kyiv and at Houston Christian University (USA).
Although he leaned toward atheism and skepticism in his youth, a period of deep depression led him to explore questions about God and the meaning of life. Through studying various arguments for and against God’s existence, Mykhailo eventually embraced the Christian faith. During the years of Russia’s hybrid war in the Donbas region, he served in churches located near the frontline.
